A Rebel with a Cause!

Ever since I can remember, I was different. When other girls had play mates, I would be by myself in a day dream world, doing who knows what. You see, I was always different. I never fitted in anywhere, not as a child and not as an adult.

I did everything different. From the clothes I wear to the way I raised my kids. My husband certainly has never had a boring life with me, I could always think about something to do or some new adventure, even if it is just to have picnic on the floor of the living room or re-arranging the furniture one more time!

The Story

I never understood what was wrong with me! I always used to be the opposite extreme and such a rebel. Then one day the Lord told me very clearly that He has called me to be a prophet. A What? What is a prophet? I searched and searched, and in return got all these strange looks but no real place where I could be trained and equipped.

Where we lived in South Africa the prophetic was not something you even talked about back in 1991 and if you were able to hear the Lords voice and see in the spirit, it was like a strange “phenomena”!

Then finally, after years and years of loneliness, rejection and being misunderstood, in 2003 the Lord led my feet to AMI. Back then they were called GMRN. A whole new world opened up to me. Finally, someone knew what I was talking about, and they could offer me the training I craved with all my heart!

All I desired was to be used by the Lord, but I wanted the best training, not just any training. You see, the rebel in me wanted only the best! I asked the Lord to be trained by the best, and He gave to me my hearts desire.

I have the privilege to sit under the mentorship of Apostle Colette Toach of AMI, and learn from the masters hand.

Just when you think you can get comfortable, the Lord normally wakes you up with a challenge or two, and He opened up the way to teach the prophets and in February 2009 we opened up the first AMI Prophetic School in South Africa.

We have learned a lot since that first day when we started training the prophets and with my husband, Hennie Botha, who works side by side with me, the greatest learning curve was for us, and not so much our students.

It is with grace that we can take the foundation that Apostles Craig & Colette Toach have laid and continue to take it into this continent. It is with humbleness that we Honour the Lord for their continual help and training, and through that, they enable us to carry out this mandate.

What We Would Like To Offer You

Now we would like to take you by the hand and impart and train you again so that you can rise up and take your place.

Perhaps you are feeling the way I was. Lonely and isolated. No one understands you and the fire burning within your heart just doesn’t want to go away, no matter what you do. It ushers you forth and it burns with an unquenchable fire within you.

Since joining AMI I can tell you that I have never felt alone and rejected ever again. It has been intense years, but worth every step of it. Yes sure, to go through a ministry training can be tough, but the fire within you deserves the best. How else will you turn out to be a prophet of excellence. A prophet worthy of carrying the mantle and authority of the most High God.

That is why we are here to help you. You never have to go through these times of shaping, preparation or training on your own again. We want to be your companions on this road.

We have a group of students like non other. The students know one another, can share and encourage each other. The lonely road comes to an end when you join us here at AMI-SA. We are a caring family.

1. Live Training and Mentorship

Here you will not only get the ‘head’ knowledge you need for your call, but also 'hands on and practical' training from qualified AMI prophets and apostles. We have one class a week, per subject and get togethers to share and fellowship.

2. A Fellowship of Prophets

Every class centers around practical application as well as fellowship. You will find that much of your training will be done more in a social setting than in the strict classroom arrangement. It is in the relaxed atmosphere that the true change takes place.

You will find that your calling matters to us sometimes even more than it matters to you! This opens the way for some deep friendships to develop. At AMI South Africa, we are not only looking for students, but friendships that lasts.

4. A Home Away From Home

Our South Africa center is a 24 hour place of ministry. Our work does not stop when classes end. We are there for you every day. Whether you need ministry, counsel or simply the company, you will always find someone ready to be there for you.

As a student you do not need to wait for class hours to get help. If you face a sudden crisis in the middle of the night and need someone to stand in agreement with you - we are there! You are after all ...a part of our family. It is very normal for us to have students stay over for a night or two, or just to come and share a meal with us. Our home, after all, is yours as well.

Where To Next?

If you feel the Lord ushering you forth to this road you know you must walk, then our doors are open to you. When the direction is necessary, we will be there to show you the turn-off. When you take a wrong turn, we will be there to get you back to the right one.

And then as you walk along, we will be there to cheer you along the way and nurture you when you get tired. We will be like your own personal GPS. Showing you the way and helping you get to your destination.
